The firm purchased an additional 2,182 shares of AMZN's stock, growing its holdings by 10.4% and bringing its total to 23,088 shares worth $4,820,000 as of its most recent filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
This is not the only change in ownership among institutional investors; several other firms also made adjustments to their positions in Amazon.com during the fourth quarter, including MilWealth Group LLC, which raised its holdings by 79.0%, and Elkhorn Partners Limited Partnership, which increased its position by 900.0%.
Amazon's recent earnings report showed a significant increase in revenue and profits, with EPS of $5.75 exceeding analysts' expectations of $1.82. The company's cloud computing services, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), have been driving growth and are seen as a key driver for the company's future expansion beyond its current market capitalization of over $3 trillion.
