Gulf Airlines Stick With Boeing Amid Region-Wide Tensions
Gulf airlines have reaffirmed their commitment to Boeing aircraft despite ongoing tensions in the region.
The carriers, including Emirates and Qatar Airways, have maintained large orders for Boeing's widebody jets, such as the 777X and 787 Dreamliner.
Emirates has a total of 270 777X aircraft on order, while Qatar Airways has ordered up to 210 Boeing widebody jets.
The airlines' confidence in their fleet plans is driven by expectations that demand for travel through their hubs will continue to grow, despite the current conflict involving Iran.
