Hagens Berman Investigates Honeywell Aerospace over Alleged False Financial Projections
Honeywell Aerospace Inc., which separated from its parent company Honeywell International earlier this year, has come under investigation by shareholder rights law firm Hagens Berman. The firm is examining whether the company and its executives knowingly made false or misleading statements to investors regarding its financial prospects.
During an Investor Day event on June 3, 2026, just weeks before the spin-off, Honeywell Aerospace's CEO Jim Currier and CFO Josh Jepsen touted ambitious targets for earnings and cash flow by 2030. However, when the company released its second-quarter results on August 5, 2026, it revealed a significant miss in both top- and bottom-line performance.
The disappointing financials prompted a substantial downward revision to full-year guidance, as well as a reduction in organic growth expectations from 7%-9% to 4%-5%. Management attributed the underperformance to ongoing supply chain bottlenecks, which forced the company to prioritize lower-margin original equipment deliveries over profitable aftermarket sales.
Following this disclosure, Honeywell Aerospace's share price plummeted 23.16% in a single trading session on August 6, 2026, closing at $156.47. Investors who suffered significant losses are being encouraged to submit their loss information.
