A new Coca-Cola distribution facility is under construction in Halfmoon, New York.

The 130,000-square-foot building will replace an existing facility on Warehouse Row in Colonie and serve as a modernized hub for packaging and distribution.

Jack Kelly, development manager for the project, stated that the facility's vertical construction is underway, with exterior paving also currently taking place. The exact number of jobs created by the new facility remains unknown at this time, but an estimated 150 positions are expected in the first year after completion.

The project's scope includes a 16-acre property with 90,000 square feet of warehouse space, as well as a 20,000-square-foot office and other supporting areas. The construction timeline is set to conclude by the end of this year, with an estimated total cost of over $48 million.
