Hanoi Conference Shifts Focus from Chatbots to Autonomous Systems
The 12th Google I/O Extended Hanoi event will take place on August 15 at Trong Dong Palace in the capital. Organized by Google Developer Group Hanoi, the conference aims to move the conversation beyond chatbots and into autonomous systems.
The central theme of this year's event is agentic AI, a term that reflects growing industry interest in AI systems that can plan, act, and complete tasks with less human prompting. The agenda will focus on tools and workflows already shaping product development, including Gemini models, Gemini API, Google AI Studio, agentic coding, and native AI services across Google Cloud, Firebase, and Android.
The event schedule has been built around technical depth rather than general commentary. Keynote sessions will address how AI-native development is changing product design and deployment, enterprise implementation, and the cost side of AI adoption. A workshop led by Nguyen Ba Ngoc will give participants a more applied look at AI-native product development.
