Hanover Park Survive Penalty Shootout Against Montagu Spurs
Hanover Park, the reigning champions of the Safa Cape Town's Coca-Cola Amateur Cup competition, edged out Montagu Spurs in a tense penalty shootout to advance to the next round. The match was tied 0-0 at normal time, with neither side able to find the decisive goal.
The pressure mounted as the game headed into extra time, but Hanover Park's goalkeeper Shiraj 'Yster' Wilks proved to be the hero of the day, saving Spurs' third penalty to swing the shootout in his team's favor. The final score was 5-3 in Hanover Park's favor.
