Hargreaves Lansdown Orders Office Return for 2,400 Staff
Hargreaves Lansdown, the UK's largest DIY investment platform, is forcing its employees to return to the office for three days a week from next year. This move follows the firm's planned relocation to a new Bristol office, with staff set to move in stages from September.
The decision has been made to improve collaboration among colleagues, as some employees had rarely been coming into the office at all. The company employs 2,400 staff and confirmed that there will still be flexibility for its employees under the new arrangement.
Hargreaves Lansdown is not alone in rolling back flexible working arrangements that became widespread during the Covid pandemic. British lender TSB is also demanding staff return to the office three days a week from April, while JPMorgan Chase told all its workers globally to return to the office full time.
