Harryhausen's Sushi Restaurant Coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios in 2027
A new restaurant is coming to Disney's Hollywood Studios in 2027 as part of the Monstropolis land, named after the Pixar film Monsters, Inc.
The restaurant will be called Harryhausen's, named after legendary special effects pioneer Ray Harryhausen, whose creature designs inspired the movie's monsters.
Harryhausen's will feature a sushi-centric menu and an animatronic six-armed octopus as its head chef, referencing another one of Harryhausen's creations in the 1955 film It Came from Beneath the Sea.
The restaurant will be recreated in full in Monstropolis, with authentic Japanese decorative elements and a unique upscale dining experience.
