Harvard PhD Joins Quantum X Labs as Distinguished Quantum Scientist
Quantum X Labs has appointed Professor Daniel Freedman as its Distinguished Quantum Scientist. The Harvard PhD will contribute to the company's fundamental strategy and scientific roadmap, focusing on the intersection of artificial intelligence and quantum technology applications. Professor Freedman brings a distinguished career spanning fundamental research, artificial intelligence, applied mathematics, computational science, and quantum-related disciplines. His current research interests include AI approaches to Quantum Physics, AI approaches to Quantum Chemistry, AI approaches to Partial Differential Equations, and Atomistic and Molecular AI.
In his new role, Professor Freedman will help develop the company's various quantum technologies for real-world applications and scale them up. He has held senior industrial research positions at Genesis Molecular AI, Verily AI, Google Research, Microsoft Research, IBM Research, and HP Laboratories.
