Harvest Fest Celebrates Fall at Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill
Get ready to celebrate all things fall at the Harvest Fest at Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. The event kicks off the harvest season with a down-home celebration for the entire family.
The Shaker Village team will process sorghum and press apples for cider while visitors learn about the history of these crops. Guests can enjoy various activities such as taking a hayride, painting a pumpkin, climbing a hay caterpillar, and learning archery.
Other highlights include shopping at the Harvest Market for handmade items, watching craft demonstrations, playing festival games including MusicLab by the Lexington Philharmonic, meeting farm animals, trying farm-made concoctions, and enjoying live music and an outdoor bar with various food trucks.
