HashKey Exchange, a Hong Kong-licensed cryptocurrency exchange, has received approval from JPMorgan Chase to open a client money account. This move will allow HashKey to support client fund segregation and settlement through JPMorgan's banking infrastructure.

The client money account is part of HashKey's efforts to expand its services and provide more secure and reliable financial solutions for its clients. In June, HashKey activated a customer funds account with Singapore's DBS Bank, enabling fiat deposits, withdrawals, and settlement services.

HashKey Holdings listed in Hong Kong in December after raising $206 million in an oversubscribed initial public offering. The company's parent, HashKey Holdings, combined the previously separate HashKey Exchange and HashKey Global applications into a single portal just last week.
