HAVELSAN Sees Surge in Boeing 737 MAX Simulator Orders Amid Capacity Expansion
Turkish-headquartered HAVELSAN is experiencing growing international interest in its Boeing 737 MAX flight simulator offerings. The company's orderbook now stands at five devices after Turkish Airlines ordered two more full-flight simulators, which will be delivered once they are completed.
The latest orders bring the total number of HAVELSAN-manufactured Boeing 737 MAX full-flight simulators operated by Turkish Airlines to five. This milestone follows increasing exposure among international airlines and training organizations for HAVELSAN's Boeing 737 MAX simulator program.
Eight airlines and pilot training centers have conducted evaluation fly-outs on the device, allowing them to assess its handling characteristics, fidelity, and training capabilities. All currently operational HAVELSAN-manufactured full-flight simulators have achieved European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) qualification.
As part of the growing Boeing 737 MAX orderbook, HAVELSAN is expanding its simulator manufacturing capacity. A new facility in Ankara will enable the production of more than 30 simulators annually and support the simultaneous development and integration of up to 16 devices once it enters service in 2027.
