Aveanna Healthcare Holdings Inc., an Atlanta-headquartered healthcare company listed on Nasdaq as AVAH, has appointed Matt Haglund as its new Chief Growth Officer. Haglund joined Aveanna in 2021 and most recently led the development of its preferred payer strategy, also working with the government affairs team to advocate for improved access and reimbursement.
In his new role, Haglund will oversee Aveanna's strategic growth, focusing on the expansion of its hospice and home health services across 39 states. The organization has seen a shift in its strategic growth focus towards these areas.

With over 25 years of clinical experience and board certification in hospice and palliative care, Dr. Pettit aims to broaden his services and continue positively impacting patient care.
Midland Care, a Kansas-based nonprofit established in 1978, has named Dr. Scott A. Paxton as its new hospice and palliative care medical director. With over a decade of clinical experience and board certification in palliative and hospice care, Dr. Paxton will oversee Midland Care's clinical hospice and palliative care leadership teams.
