HF Sinclair Establishes Diversified Base Oil Supply Network with SK Enmove and Chevron
HF Sinclair Corporation has announced that its Lubricants & Specialties segment has established strategic long-term commercial agreements with SK Enmove and Chevron to create a diversified base oil supply network across North America.
The partnerships will see SK Enmove supplying Group III base oils, while Chevron will provide Group II base oils to HF Sinclair's Lubricants & Specialties segment. This move supports the company's plans to retire its base oil refining assets in Mississauga, Ontario, with the transition expected to be complete by 2027.
HF Sinclair's Senior Vice President and President of Lubricants & Specialties, Matthew Joyce, stated that these agreements represent an important milestone for the company, providing a diversified supply platform combining world-class products, strong supply security, and technical expertise. The agreements will enable HF Sinclair to continue offering high-quality Group I, II, and III base oils with flexible supply arrangements and extensive technical expertise.
