HiBob Secures $166M in Funding Led by Salesforce and Farallon
HiBob, an HR technology company, has secured $166 million in funding led by Salesforce and Farallon. The investment aims to expand HiBob's platform from a people-management tool into an organizational intelligence layer for AI-powered businesses.
The company believes that workforce data and organizational context will become increasingly important as companies deploy AI agents throughout their operations.
HiBob's Bob platform brings together information about employees, teams, reporting structures, skills, goals, compensation, performance, managers, and workforce planning. The company intends to make this organizational context available beyond traditional HR applications and across various tools such as AI agents, workflows, collaboration software, CRM, finance, and operating systems.
HiBob serves over 5,500 customers globally and sees the emerging workplace as a hybrid environment where AI agents provide scale and execution while people continue to provide judgment, creativity, empathy, and accountability. The company is expanding its integration with Slack, aiming to make workforce information accessible where employees and managers collaborate and make decisions.
