HighTower Advisors Boosts Stake in Merck & Co.

The institutional investor now owns 3,679,920 shares of the company's stock, which is approximately 0.15% of Merck's total outstanding shares worth $472,870,000.
HighTower Advisors LLC acquired an additional 44,516 shares during the period, increasing its stake in Merck & Co., Inc.
This move comes as other institutional investors have also made changes to their positions in MRK. Groupe la Francaise increased its stake by 254.7% and VIRGINIA RETIREMENT SYSTEMS ET Al acquired a new position valued at about $79,559,000.
