HighTower Advisors Doubles Down on Home Depot Investment
HighTower Advisors LLC purchased an additional 6,198 shares of The Home Depot, Inc. ($HD) in the second quarter, boosting its position by 0.7%, according to a recent Form 13F filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The institutional investor now owns 952,398 shares of the home improvement retailer's stock, valued at $335,892,000 as of its most recent SEC filing.
This is not an isolated instance; multiple other hedge funds and institutional investors have also bought and sold shares of HD. Parvin Asset Management LLC raised its position in Home Depot by 110% in the third quarter, while Merkkuri Wealth Advisors LLC purchased a new stake in the company during the first quarter.
Home Depot's core business includes the sale of building materials, lumber, tools, hardware, appliances, paint, plumbing and electrical supplies, lawn and garden products, and home décor.
