HighTower Advisors Doubles Down on Visa Stake

HighTower Advisors LLC has significantly increased its stake in Visa Inc., buying an additional 100,276 shares of the credit-card processor's stock during the second quarter. The fund now owns 1,483,966 shares of Visa, which represents a 7.2% increase from its previous holdings.

According to its most recent 13F filing with the Securities & Exchange Commission, HighTower Advisors LLC owned 0.08% of Visa's outstanding stock as of the end of the second quarter, valued at approximately $509 million.

This is not an isolated move; other institutional investors have also made changes to their positions in Visa during the same period. Parvin Asset Management LLC, for example, increased its stake by 200%, buying an additional 50 shares worth around $26,000.
