Hollywood Studios' Magic of Disney Animation Cuts Hours

The Magic of Disney Animation is set to open at Disney's Hollywood Studios on September 14, 2026. Initially, it will operate during full park hours from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. However, starting September 28, the attraction will have reduced operating hours of 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

This change is not uncommon for indoor walk-throughs and character halls across Walt Disney World. The Magic of Disney Animation is an interactive walkthrough that celebrates over a century of Disney animation history. It features five distinct areas, including Olaf Draws!, where guests can learn how to draw classic characters alongside recorded artists and Audio-Animatronic Olaf.

To manage opening demand, Disney has confirmed that Olaf Draws! will utilize a Virtual Queue on the My Disney Experience app. Guests are advised to adjust their morning and evening plans accordingly and prioritize headliner rides during the park's first hour.
