Home Depot Aligns Leadership to Boost Home Improvement Market Share
The Home Depot has announced significant changes to its leadership structure in an effort to support its growth strategy. The company aims to increase its share of the home improvement market by streamlining operations and investing in technology. As part of this plan, Fran Bell, who was appointed as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer earlier this year, will now oversee the store, supply chain, and Pro product technology teams.
According to Ted Decker, Chair, President, and CEO of The Home Depot, the focus is on 'drive[ing] our core and culture, deliver[ing] a frictionless interconnected experience and win[ning] the Pro.' Bell has been tasked with integrating agentic AI and machine learning across the business, building on the company's existing AI-powered tools such as its 'Magic Apron' assistant.
