Home Depot CEO Ted Decker Takes Temporary Leave Amid Medical Absence
The Home Depot has announced that its CEO Ted Decker will be taking a temporary medical leave of absence. The company expects Decker to return within the next few months, although no specific date was given. During his absence, two senior executives will oversee operations: Ann-Marie Campbell as head of day-to-day operations and Richard McPhail for financial management and Pro subsidiaries.
Greg Brenneman, independent lead director of the board, expressed confidence in Campbell and McPhail's ability to lead the company during this time. 'The Home Depot has the best management team in retail,' Brenneman said. 'We are confident in Ann-Marie's and Richard's ability to lead the company during this time.'
