Home Depot CEO Ted Decker Takes Temporary Medical Leave
The Home Depot's CEO, Ted Decker, has taken a temporary medical leave of absence. The Atlanta-based company announced this decision on Wednesday. According to the statement, Decker is expected to return in the next few months. During his absence, Senior Executive Vice President Ann-Marie Campbell will manage day-to-day operations, and Chief Financial Officer Richard McPhail will oversee finances. Greg Brenneman, lead director of The Home Depot's board of directors, will also chair the board.
The company expressed confidence in Campbell and McPhail's ability to lead during this time, citing their experience working together for over 20 years. Decker has been CEO since 2022.
