Home Depot Customer Gets Extra Mystery Boxes Instead of Ordered Vanity
Avelyn (@its.avelyn) was excited to pick up her new vanity from Home Depot. But when she arrived at the store, she got two extra mystery boxes that were bigger than her. She had ordered a vanity and expected it to be around her size, but these boxes seemed out of proportion.
Avelyn told TikTok that she thought the extra boxes might be part of her package, so she didn't think much of it at first. However, when she got home, she realized they were not hers and decided to call Home Depot to report the issue.
The lady at the store asked Avelyn how far her car was parked, which made her feel uneasy. The lady then came out with three big boxes, including one that was bigger than a head taller than Avelyn herself.
Avelyn had to lug all the boxes home by herself, even though they weighed around 100 pounds each. When she finally opened one of the boxes with her name on it, she found something other than her vanity - and couldn't figure out what it was. It wasn't until she opened another box that she discovered her actual order.
Avelyn then realized that two of the packages might not even be hers, leaving her wondering what could be inside them. She decided to call Home Depot again and ask them to take the extra boxes back, but they agreed only after coordinating with Avelyn first.
