Home Depot Deploys AI-Powered Shopping Assistant Across US Stores

The Home Depot has expanded its AI-powered Magic Apron shopping assistant to more than 2,000 stores nationwide. The technology is designed to provide customers with personalized product information and project guidance while they shop.

According to Jordan Broggi, EVP of Interconnected Retail, 'Customers come to The Home Depot for expert guidance, and we know they want their shopping experience to be easy and efficient.'

Magic Apron can answer product-specific questions, determine whether a product is suitable for a project, and recommend tools and supplies needed to complete a job.

Customers can access the assistant through The Home Depot mobile app or by scanning QR codes displayed on signs inside stores.
