Home Depot Drops Christmas Decorations in the Middle of Summer
Home Depot has launched its holiday decoration collection for 2026 in the midst of a summer heat wave, leaving customers stunned. The collection, which was officially released online on August 27, includes items such as an 8-foot Gold Nutcracker with LCD LifeEyes that can be placed inside or outside homes.
The nutcracker, priced at $249, features realistic moving eyes and even blinks. It also comes with ground stakes to secure it in place and a selection of pre-recorded holiday songs. Color options for the decoration include gold and vintage.
Other notable items in the collection include an 6.5-foot-tall Animated LED App-Controlled Santa, listed for $299, which can be personalized with up to 30 different sound recordings or real-time speech through its 'Live' mode. The Santa also features servo motors for life-like motions.
Home Depot is offering hundreds of decorations in the collection, including Disney- and Marvel-themed items such as a 3.5-foot Animated Pluto, a 4-foot Animated Mickey Mouse, and a 4-foot Animated Minnie Mouse, all priced at $199 each.
