Home Depot Employee Arrested for Stealing Over $700 in Merchandise
A 52-year-old employee of the Home Depot store in Shorewood, IL was arrested on July 28 for retail theft. According to the police report, Christopher Koelbl had been concealing unpaid items worth over $700. The manager at the store informed the officers that Koelbl had been observed doing this multiple times.
The officers met with Koelbl and he admitted to stealing the items. He was subsequently arrested and released with a notice to appear in court. Koelbl's address is listed as the 1900 block of Plainfield's Arbor Fields Drive.
