Home Depot has opened a new store in Mission Valley, California, featuring a full-service tool rental center. The 125,000-square-foot store is located on the site of a former bowling alley and offers residents a range of services, including specialty showrooms and a larger garden center.

The new location will serve as one of several new Home Depot stores opening in 2026, with plans to expand its physical presence across eight states. In March, the company announced it would open 12 new stores in Florida, Texas, Arizona, Arkansas, Tennessee, Utah, Oklahoma, and California.

The store's manager, Keith, expressed his excitement about building trust with customers and providing an excellent experience and service. The full-service tool rental center will feature pro-grade equipment for customers to rent.
