Home Depot Rolls Out 3-Hour Delivery for Under $10
Home improvement retailer Home Depot has launched Express Delivery, a new service that allows customers to get tens of thousands of items delivered in under three hours for just $7. The service is available at over 2,000 stores nationwide and aims to meet customer demand for faster delivery options.
According to Jordan Broggi, EVP of Interconnected Retail, Express Delivery helps Home Depot meet the expectation that products should be available when and where customers need them.
The service works similarly to Amazon Prime, with estimated delivery times displayed on product pages and at checkout. Customers can pay $7 for delivery within three hours, making it possible to avoid store trips and keep DIY projects moving.
Home Depot already offers free same-day delivery on orders of $25 or more placed by 4 p.m., but Express Delivery takes the service a step further with faster delivery times and a lower price point.
