Home Depot Sales Lifted by Smaller Projects, But Guidance Remains Steady
Home Depot reported a revenue increase to $47.86 billion in its second quarter, exceeding Wall Street's expectations of $47.24 billion.
The company's sales growth was driven by customers focusing on smaller projects during the summer months, with comparable store sales rising 1.3% in the U.S. and 1.7% globally.
Despite this, Home Depot stuck to its earlier sales growth guidance of between 2.5% and 4.5% for fiscal 2026, citing concerns over financing for bigger-ticket projects.
The company's stock rose 2% before markets opened, with the launch of express delivery nationwide expected to boost customer satisfaction and drive sales.
