Home Depot Sees Increased Institutional Investment Amid Quarterly Earnings Beat
The Home Depot, Inc., one of the world's largest home improvement retailers, has seen increased investment from various institutional investors. Great Lakes Advisors LLC purchased a new position in The Home Depot during the second quarter, investing approximately $4.79 million in shares valued at $337.97 each.
This is not an isolated instance of institutional investment. Other hedge funds and companies have also shown interest in The Home Depot's stock, with King Luther Capital Management Corp increasing its stake by 0.6% and Thompson Siegel & Walmsley LLC raising its holdings by 320.4% in the fourth quarter.
The company has reported quarterly revenue of $47.86 billion, exceeding expectations, and adjusted diluted EPS of $4.92 beating analysts' consensus estimates of $4.73. However, some concerns have been raised regarding a possible one-time boost from a tariff refund worth $685 million.
