Home Depot Sees Increased Institutional Investment Amid Turnaround
The Home Depot, Inc. (NYSE:HD) has seen significant investment from institutional investors in recent quarters. In its latest 13F filing with the SEC, Manning & Napier Advisors LLC revealed it had bought a new position in HD's stock, purchasing 49,606 shares valued at approximately $17,495,000.
This is not an isolated instance of investment in HD. Several other hedge funds and institutional investors have increased their holdings in the company over the past few quarters. Parvin Asset Management LLC boosted its holdings by 110% in Q3, while Zeit Capital LLC bought a new position worth $26,000 in Q2.
Insiders at Home Depot are also selling shares of the company's stock. EVP Michael F. Rowe sold 710 shares on August 26th for an average price of $336.76 per share, while CFO Richard V. Mcphail sold 5,989 shares on August 19th at an average price of $348.40 per share.
