Osmosis Investment Management UK Ltd acquired a significant stake in The Home Depot, Inc. (NYSE:HD) during the second quarter, according to its latest Form 13F filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The fund purchased approximately $11,246,000 worth of shares, specifically 31,887 units valued at an average price of $350.77 per share.
This news comes as Home Depot reported a 5.7% year-over-year revenue increase to $47.86 billion in the fiscal second quarter, exceeding analyst estimates of $47.24 billion.
Additionally, the company's adjusted earnings of $4.92 per share beat the consensus estimate of $4.73, reinforcing the view that Home Depot's turnaround is gaining traction under its current leadership despite CEO Ted Decker being on temporary medical leave.
