Home Depot Stock Slumps as CEO Decker Takes Medical Leave
Home Depot (NYSE:HD) stock plummeted 2.7% on Wednesday after CEO Ted Decker announced he would be taking a temporary medical leave of absence.
The company expects Decker to return within the next few months, but in the meantime, Ann-Marie Campbell and Richard McPhail will oversee operations and financial management respectively.
Campbell, senior EVP, has been working at Home Depot for over 20 years alongside McPhail, EVP and CFO. Independent lead director Greg Brenneman will chair the board during Decker's leave.
