Home Depot Stock Slumps as CEO Takes Medical Leave
Home Depot's () stock price dropped 2.7% on Wednesday following an announcement that CEO Ted Decker will take a temporary medical leave of absence.
The company expects Decker to return within the next few months, but in his stead, two executives have been appointed to oversee operations.
Ann-Marie Campbell, senior EVP, will provide oversight of Home Depot's day-to-day operations, while Richard McPhail, EVP and CFO, will focus on financial management and Pro subsidiaries.
