Home Depot Stock Steadies After Strong Q2 Earnings
Home Depot's stock has remained steady in the low $330 range after the company released stronger-than-expected fiscal Q2 2026 earnings and reiterated its full-year EPS guidance.
The retailer reported a 5.7% increase in revenue to $47.86 billion, beating consensus estimates of $4.73 per share, with adjusted earnings per share coming in at $4.92.
The company's profitability was aided by a non-recurring $685 million tariff refund that flowed through cost of goods sold, supporting margins and allowing Home Depot to post a return on equity above 100% and a net margin of 8.41% in the period.
Looking ahead, management has set fiscal 2026 guidance for earnings per share in a range of $14.69 to $15.27, which is slightly below current sell-side analyst expectations of $15.00.
