Home Depot Surpasses Earnings Estimates in Q2 Report
Home Depot (HD) announced its Q2 earnings and revenues surpassed estimates in a recent report. The company's quarterly earnings came out at $4.92 per share, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $4.71 per share by +4.46%. This represents an increase from last year's earnings of $4.68 per share.
The company posted revenues of $47.86 billion for the quarter ended July 2026, exceeding the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 1.33%. Home Depot has consistently topped consensus revenue estimates over the past four quarters, with this being its fourth consecutive quarter to do so.
Despite beating expectations, Home Depot's stock price has underperformed the market so far this year, losing about 1.8% since the beginning of the year compared to the S&P 500's gain of 13.1%. The company's shares are currently expected to perform in line with the market in the near future based on its current Zacks Rank of #3 (Hold).
