Home Depot Surpasses Q2 Forecasts with Strong Earnings and Reaffirms FY26 Guidance
Home Depot has reported second-quarter numbers that exceeded Wall Street expectations.
The DIY retailer's adjusted earnings per share came in at $4.92, surpassing analysts' forecast of $4.73.
Revenues rose to $47.86bn, beating the consensus estimate of $47.27bn, while net income increased to $4.77bn or $4.79 per share from $4.55bn a year earlier.
The company's comparable sales grew 1.7%, outperforming expectations of a 0.9% rise and marking its strongest comparable performance since the third quarter of 2022.
