Home Depot has expanded its Magic Apron AI-powered shopping assistant to all 2,000 of its US stores. Initially launched online in March 2025, Magic Apron now provides customers with localized store knowledge, helping them navigate aisles, find products, and get personalized project guidance.

Clients can access Magic Apron via text, voice-to-text, or by uploading images through the Home Depot mobile app's Store Mode. This feature, launched in 2022, allows barcode scanning, product wayfinding, and more. Magic Apron's integration now enhances Store Mode.

According to Jordan Broggi, EVP of Interconnected Retail, customers come to The Home Depot for expert guidance and want their shopping experience to be easy and efficient. Magic Apron brings the best of digital expertise into physical stores, creating a connected shopping experience that helps customers make decisions faster.
