Home Depot Unveils Nationwide Express Delivery for Under 3 Hours
The Home Depot has rolled out a new express delivery service that allows customers to receive eligible orders in three hours or less, nationwide. The service uses the company's supply chain network and over 2,000 U.S. stores as fulfillment hubs.
Eligible items include thousands of SKUs in categories such as plumbing, hardware, paint, and tools. Customers can check product pages and their cart at checkout to see if an item is eligible for express delivery.
The service comes with a flat fee of $7 in most major markets and $10 in Los Angeles. No subscription or membership is required.
Home Depot has been focused on maximizing its supply chain capabilities, including speedier deliveries. EVP of Merchandising Billy Bastek noted that the company has cut its delivery lead times in the U.S. by 45% over the last 18 months.
