Home Depot Unveils Strategic Leadership Shifts to Bolster Innovation
The Home Depot has announced significant leadership changes aimed at accelerating innovation and capturing a larger share of the $1.2 trillion home improvement market.
According to CEO Ted Decker, the company's focus is on driving its core and culture, delivering a frictionless interconnected experience, and winning over professional customers, known as 'Pros.'
The changes involve unifying key leadership portfolios across merchandising, loyalty, finance, and technology. This includes combining private label merchants into the core merchandising organization, led by Billy Bastek.
Another key aspect of the strategy is creating a seamless customer experience through integrated offerings, including credit and loyalty programs. Jordan Broggi will lead this effort in the newly formed interconnected retail organization.
