The Home Depot has rolled out its Magic Apron AI-powered shopping assistant to all 2,000+ U.S. stores, expanding its capabilities to provide customers with localized in-store guidance and personalized project advice.

Magic Apron allows customers to ask questions via text, voice-to-text, image uploads, or multiple languages, helping them navigate the store more efficiently and find products quickly.

The expansion builds on The Home Depot's Store Mode feature, which was launched in 2022 and enables barcode scanning, improved wayfinding, and real-time store information.

Customers can access Magic Apron directly through the Home Depot mobile app or by scanning a QR code on in-store signage. Jordan Broggi, EVP of Interconnected Retail, said Magic Apron takes the best of digital expertise and brings it into physical stores, creating a more connected shopping experience.
