Home Depot's Sales Surge 5.7% to $47.9 Billion in Q2
The Home Depot reported Q2 fiscal sales of $47.9 billion, up 5.7% from last year's same period.
This represents a significant increase in sales for the world's largest home improvement retailer, with comparable sales growing by 1.7%. In the US, comparable sales rose 1.3%, according to The Home Depot.
Net earnings for Q2 fiscal 2026 were $4.8 billion, or $4.79 per diluted share, compared to net earnings of $4.6 billion in the same period last year.
The company's CFO, Richard McPhail, stated that the second quarter results exceeded expectations due to broad-based demand across the business and customer engagement in smaller projects.
