Honeywell Aerospace Confronts Supply Chain Constraints at Jefferies Global Industrials Conference
Honeywell Aerospace's President and CEO Jim Currier addressed supply chain constraints during the Jefferies Global Industrials Conference 2026. The company has a strong backlog of $18 billion and broad market exposure, but is struggling to deliver due to bottlenecks in its supply base.
The main issue lies with 70 critical or constrained suppliers, of which 10 are severely bottlenecked in complex machining, castings, forgings, and bearings. Since August 2023, Honeywell Aerospace has invested over $1 billion in the supply base, with plans to invest at least as much again in the next couple of years.
The company is taking a hands-on approach to address these challenges, including direct CEO oversight, weekly supplier follow-up meetings, and capital support. This effort aims to unlock capacity and improve productivity among suppliers.
