Honeywell Aerospace to Pay $2M for Alleged Cybersecurity Failures
Honeywell Aerospace has agreed to pay $2,042,518 to resolve allegations that it failed to comply with cybersecurity requirements under a U.S. Department of Defense contract.
The alleged conduct took place between April 2020 and December 2023, during which time the company was operating as part of Honeywell International Inc.
Rachel Tenney, a former Honeywell employee who filed a whistleblower lawsuit under the False Claims Act, will receive $375,823 from the settlement.
