Honeywell Announces Leadership Shifts in Automation Business

Honeywell International has announced key leadership changes in its Automation business. Effective October 1, 2026, Billal Hammoud will become President and CEO of Process Technology, a part of the Process Automation & Technology segment. He replaces Ken West, who is leaving on August 31, 2026.

Hammoud has been credited with transforming Building Automation to achieve high single-digit organic growth and margin expansion. He will report directly to Chairman and CEO Vimal Kapur.

Juan Picon, currently President of Building Automation Americas, will succeed Hammoud as President and CEO of Building Automation on the same date, also reporting to Kapur.
