Honeywell Launches Major Skilling Drive in India for AI, Cybersecurity, and Sustainability
Honeywell Technologies has announced a major skilling drive in India to equip over 3 lakh students with future-ready capabilities in AI, cybersecurity, sustainability, and advanced technologies by 2030. The initiative, called Saksham, aims to bridge the gap between industry demand and talent readiness.
According to Ashish Modi, President of Honeywell Technologies India & APAC, 'India's growth and competitiveness depend on how effectively we bridge education and employability at scale.'
Honeywell is partnering with several organizations, including IIT Bombay, BharatCares, the Ladli Foundation, and the Foundation of Science, Innovation and Development (FSID-IISc), to deliver large-scale skilling programs, school transformation initiatives, and innovation-led interventions.
