Honeywell Names New Leaders for Process Tech and Building Automation
Honeywell Technologies has announced two significant leadership changes in its Process Technology and Building Automation divisions. Effective October 1, 2026, Billal Hammoud will take over as President and CEO of Process Technology, while Juan Picon will assume the same role at Building Automation.
Hammoud succeeds Ken West, who will leave the company on August 31. Both new CEOs will report to Vimal Kapur, Chairman and CEO of Honeywell Technologies.
Under Hammoud's leadership since 2023, Building Automation has seen remarkable growth, with annual organic growth increasing from 2% in 2023 to 8% in 2025. The business also achieved seven consecutive quarters of high-single-digit organic growth and margin expansion.
Picon has a long history with Honeywell Technologies, having rejoined the company in 2024 as President of the Fire Life Safety business after over 18 years in various leadership positions across its business segments.
