Honeywell Names New Leaders to Drive Automation Push

Honeywell International (NasdaqGS:HON) is reshuffling two core divisions ahead of a significant transformation. Two long-serving executives, Billal Hammoud and Juan Picon, will take the helm as President and CEO of Process Technology and Building Automation segments respectively from October 1, 2026.

Hammoud has experience in growth, product development, and operational efficiency, having recently reshaped Honeywell's Building Automation division. His move to Process Technology suggests a strategic effort to boost automation capabilities.

The appointments are seen as part of Honeywell's plan to focus on automation, energy, and sustainable solutions following the separation of Aerospace Technologies.
