Honeywell Shakes Up Automation Leadership Amid Company Separation Plans
Honeywell International has made significant changes to its automation leadership team, naming Billal Hammoud as President and CEO of Process Technology and appointing Juan Picon to lead Building Automation effective October 1, 2026.
The appointments bring two long-tenured Honeywell leaders with records of reshaping business focus and customer engagement into roles central to the company’s automation ambitions.
Honeywell's investment narrative centers around its ability to sustain attractive earnings despite separating into three public entities. The separation is expected to be completed by 2029, when revenue is projected to reach $22.5 billion and earnings are expected to be $3.2 billion.
