Honeywell Technologies has announced leadership updates for its Process Technology and Building Automation businesses. Billal Hammoud will take over as President and CEO of Process Technology, effective October 1, 2026, while Juan Picon will succeed him as President and CEO of Building Automation.
Hammoud has a strong track record at Honeywell Technologies, transforming the Building Automation business by accelerating annual organic growth from 2% in 2023 to 8% in 2025. He led the creation of a regional structure in the Americas, pivoted the business towards higher-growth verticals, and accelerated the adoption of Forge to deliver strong results.
Kapur praised Hammoud's experience in strategy execution, operational rigor, and successful M&A integration. Picon, meanwhile, has more than two decades of experience at Honeywell Technologies, with a focus on customer engagement and higher-growth verticals. He holds an MBA from Arizona State University and various other degrees.
The leadership updates are part of Honeywell Technologies' efforts to strengthen its leadership across the company's businesses and support long-term growth outlook. The company serves the building, industrial, and process sectors with a broad portfolio of services, solutions, and products underpinned by its Honeywell Technologies Accelerator operating system and Honeywell Technologies Forge intelligence layer.
